Home > Stay-on-scilly > Bank Cottage Guest House
The core of the house is a traditional Scillonian cottage, which we have built around to provide our guests with accommodation of the highest quality, and with magnificent views across the bay to the islands and reefs of Bryher's Western Rocks and the Atlantic Ocean beyond.
Our dining room has separate tables where guests may enjoy a light breakfast from the bar selection or a full English from the menu. We have provided a small well equipped kitchen where guests may prepare light meals and snacks, for evenings when you do not wish to dine out. There is also a barbecue in the garden.
We offer an interesting selection of wines at sensible prices.
Our very comfortable lounge has patio doors onto the garden terrace, and the luxuriant sub tropical garden includes a secluded sun patio with Koi fish pond.
The bay at the garden's edge glistens with the crystal clear waters that are home to the seals and birds that have made Scilly internationally famous. Here we keep a small rowing boat for our guest's use.

From St. Mary's Quay take the Bryher Boat Services boat to Bryher.
If arriving into St. Marys airport there are shuttle busses which will transport you down to the quay. If you have arrived on the Scillonian you will dock on St. Marys quay. If you have travelled into Tresco heliport there are tractor busses which will take you down to New Grimsby quay. Either way you will need to get on one of the Bryher boats, either the Firethorn (large blue and white metal boat), or the Cyclone or Hurricane (two yellow jet R.I.B boats). These tend to run regularly however may have to be booked to fit in with late flights. If you let us know your travel plans we can let the boatmen know when to expect you on the quay.
