A warm welcome awaits you at Colossus Bed and Breakfast, where we take pleasure in offering quality accommodation, excellent food and value for money.
Colossus is a friendly Scillonian family run B&B offering accommodation in a twin/double room with ensuite facilities or double room with private bathroom, television, hot drink making facilities, radio alarm clock and hairdryer.
Our home and garden overlook the lower moors and are situated in a residential cul-de-sac. Only a 7 minute pleasant walk with splendid views brings you to Hugh Town, where you will find shops, restaurants, public houses and three beaches. A further 2 minutes brings you to the harbour - where you can hop on the daily boats to take you to the off-islands.
Five minutes walk in the opposite direction will bring you to the picturesque village of Old Town, with cafes and art and craft studios.
We aim to provide a comfortable and unforgetable stay in a relaxed friendly atmosphere where guests are welcome to come and go as they please.

April, May, September and October are delightful months and quieter than the main holiday season. All rooms are centrally heated.

Road Directions
From A30
Follow the A30 to Penzance. If travelling to Scilly by plane, continue following the A30 signs for Lands End and then lands End Aerodrome. If travelling by helicopter, the A30 will be signposted for the heliport. If travelling by boat, drive into Penzance and follow signs for the harbour; you can park in the car park near to the quay.
Public Transport Directions
From Penzance
There are three modes of transport to the islands: helicopter; plane and boat. When making your reservation for your chosen mode of transport to Scilly, check their pick-up times from the train station (you can easily walk to the the quay for the boats). Once on St Mary's, buses and taxis meet every flight and if travelling by boat your luggage will be taken directly to the B&B while you walk up (7minute walk).
