Garrison Campsite

We are a friendly family-run campsite situated on the historic Garrison, only 15 minutes walk into town, the beaches, and the quay. The site offers level pitches in sheltered enclosures of various sizes, some of which have superb views and 10 have electric hook-ups. Even when full, the site is never crowded and during your stay you will experience our truly relaxed atmosphere. We have a number of wooden picnic tables around the site for communal use, there are two fully-equipped toilet blocks (one at each end of the site) both with showers, sinks, toilets, hand-driers, shaver points, and separate wash-up areas. One of the toilets has a small laundry attached, with 2 token operated washing machines, 2 tumble driers, iron and ironing board and wash basin. The toilet blocks are illuminated at night and there are some low intensity solar lights around the site, though a torch is still recommended. The campsite shop and reception stock most essentials including: bread, milk, croissants, tinned goods, cereaks, beer & wine, chilled & frozen food, sweets, and drinks. We stock most types of camping gas and we offer a freezing service for ice packs as well as a recharging facility for mobile phones, camera batteries, ipods etc. Luggage is collected from the quay and transported to the site, where handcarts are available for you to take to your pitch. Trailers can be towed to and from the quay and we can accept kit that is sent in advance. We welcome well organised and supervised groups including divers, canoeists, scouts, schools, community groups etc. and we are well experienced in looking after their needs.
