Built in 1700's as part of garrison defences and used as a store and barracks. Later used as Coastguard premises.

There are stunning panoramic sea views extending across the off-islands and harbour from all three guest bedrooms, the patio and the garden.

Of historic, literary or architectural interest - Garrison House was built in the latter part of the 18thC as part of the improvements to the garrison defences. Its original use was part store, part cart shed and at one time, the infantry barracks. In the late 19thC it was occupied by the Coastguard.
