Home > What's on Scilly ... a guide from the official Isles of Scilly Tourism website > Tours and Treks
Escape crowds, busy beaches, everyday worries, and explore the Isles of Scilly. Life goes on at a different pace here. Perhaps we're more in tune with the rhythms of nature, despite the 21st-century approach that underpins much of what we do.
Our coastline is a place of wild walks, soaring cliffs, and rural backdrops. Narrow paths run the length, breadth, and
circumference of most islands. Steep cliffs nurturing tropical plant species and hardy flowers give way to the aquamarine sea below. Any journey around an island will find, just around the corner, a view which opens out to offer stunning vistas and clear views of the coastline as it folds in and out on itself. It's easy to see where our artisans gain their inspiration!
As you explore the Isles of Scilly, each journey reveals something new: a tiny mooring where colourful fishing boats bob on the sea; ancient heritage sites revealing the secrets of our past inhabitants; ancient fortifications dotted around the coastline.
There are a wide range of ways you can explore the Isles of Scilly.
From coach tours on old-fashioned buses to guided walking tours to boat tours, explore and discover all the islands have to offer in your own magical way.
