The idyllic isles and islets are a sailor's paradise, a paradise for learning to sail and a sanctuary for those who just wish to relax on-board. The islands are a super half-way-house between Brittany and Ireland; so much so that you may not wish to finish your journey. One date for the diary not to be missed is the Round the Island sailing race on August 3rd- a fantastic event.
Crystal clear waters, breathtaking scenery and over 50 isles and islets make Scilly a popular sailing destination. There are numerous coves, and safe anchorages around all the islands plus St. Mary's Harbour which is privately owned.

St. Mary's Harbour is owned and run by the Duchy of Cornwall.
The Harbour Office is situated on the quay.
