Pest House, St. Helen's

Historic Site

None

A small unroofed building erected in 1764 as an isolation hospital. The hospital has single storey granite walls surviving to roof height and a brick chimney. It had a square main room and an annexe later subdivided. None of the rooms interconnect, but ther is a blocked window between the two smaller ones.
