The tranquil and beautiful island of St.Agnes has the most south-westerly community in the British Isles. Flower farming and fishing are still the traditional occupations and visitors can enjoy a stress free holiday with the silence only broken by the natural sounds of sea or bird, since traffic is rarely encountered.

The footpath follows the deeply indented coastline revealing beautiful sandy coves, rocky headlands, downland, heath, meadow and a freshwater pool near the Island's small cricket pitch. This small, but rich habitat attracts butterflies and moths and is often the first landfall for American vagrant birds in the migration periods.

This friendly Island on the very edge of the wide Atlantic has an excellent Inn that serves food and real ales. Accommodation may be taken in guest houses, self-catering or camping and there is a well appointed Post Office/General Store/Off-licence. Other produce and crafts can also be obtained from farms and cottages.
